Second Harvest Food Bank

In Nashville (where it all began and where our Store is), Batch is excited to partner with Second Harvest Food Bank to offer meals with select gift batches. Furthermore, we also offer a donation of the equivalent of one meal with every Nashville subscription box we mail in 2015. 

Batch and Second Harvest began this partnership last year, working to curate select gift batches from purveyors that also support the work and mission of the food bank. So, when you buy one of our select gift batches that support Second Harvest, as many meals as possible are donated to help people eat. 

And in that, we all work to get food to as many people as possible. It's a match that's just been waiting to happen.

Founded in 1978, Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee works to feed hungry people and solve hunger issues in Middle and West Tennessee.

Second Harvest has a network of over 450 Partner Agencies working together to feed hungry men, women and children throughout its 46-county service area. Second Harvest collects, sorts and distributes food and personal care products to over 450 partner agencies throughout 46 Middle and West Tennessee counties. Partner agencies include food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, foster care facilities, senior centers, group homes and youth enrichment programs.
