NASHVILLE WHAT

Don't Be a Scofflaw

Broadway is not the only place in Nashville with bars but if you read the news, it can feel that way. Now that the mask-less behavior of Broadway bargoers has made the digital tabloids and bars are mandated to close at 10 p.m., a coalition of downtown bars and restaurants are launching a campaign that puts health and safety first. The Mayor has also put the downtown drinkers and other non-mandate follower on notice saying he "expects this weekend to look very different" from an enforcement POV. Data will tell if any of these campaigns and words flatten the curve.

What a Candle Sounds Like

If you have ever had the opportunity to talk with Nicole Gaines, founder of The Clarity Shop candle company, consider yourself #blessed. She is just as delightful as her candles are fragrant. We talked to Nicole about being a Nashville native, a Black female business owner, a creative, a healthcare professional, and a mom.
