Nashville What

To Do List

When Tom Adkinson wrote 100 Things to Do in Nashville Before You Die, people were doing more things. Now that we are all Safer at Home for the time being, a lot of us are close to going out of our minds living, working, playing, and parenting at home. We asked Tom to revisit his book to give us some ideas that could hold us over just a little longer at home.

Romeo and Juliet

Event What

What Light Through Yonder Screen Breaks

William Shakespeare would have celebrated his 456th birthday on April 26th had he not passed away in 1616. To celebrate his works that still resonate today, 91Classical teamed up with the Nashville Shakespeare Festival. You can watch a zoom call between Romeo and Juliet (actors Mason Conrad and Morgan Davis) that proves the timelessness and timeliness of Shakespeare’s words.

Diary of a Small Business Owner, Part XI

Last week, we moved everything out of our store in the Nashville Farmers Market. Well, not everything. We had already moved the inventory to our warehouse earlier in March as we scrambled to pivot to a more robust eCommerce company. The growth in orders, coupled with companies using us to send gifts to would-have-been conference attendees and those now working from home meant we were overwhelmed at our warehouse. Pre-order for the Farmers Market

Pre-order now for the May 2 Nashville Farmers Market Drive Thru Market. Reminder that you can order through the Batch website and pick up in the market parking lot from 9-noon.

City House to-go

Food and Drink What

Come and Get It

We almost want to keep this good news to ourselves so we can get all of the City House Belly Ham Pizzas (add the egg, of course). On Monday, Tandy Wilson announced that City House will begin contactless takeout on Friday. It sounds like they will have a pizza heavy menu, meals for the family, and a marketplace for home goods. After this week, they will be open from 4-8:30 Wednesday-Sunday starting next week. It looks like they are also going to be offering cocktails-to-go, as well.

Bonus What

Mother's Day Table

We have collected our favorite Mother’s Day gifts to make it easy for you to send your mom a meaningful gift. We suggest an accessory from ABLE or the Mother’s Day Table gift with a hard carved spoon from Billet + Blade.
