The first ever Nashville Soccer Club game kicks off on Saturday night at Nissan Stadium. The team reports that over 50,000 tickets have been sold to the inaugural game making it possible that it will break the record for attendance at a professional soccer game in Tennessee (and 33 other states). The Nissan Stadium and state record is 56,232, set in 2017 with the International Champions Cup match between Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, two English Premier League teams.
