Best Mother’s Day Brunch in Nashville

Best Mother’s Day Brunch in Nashville

After you’ve given Mom your gift from Batch (here are some hints if you need them), it’s time to enjoy brunch in the food mecca that is Nashville. Here are our recommendations for Mother’s Day brunch in Nashville by neighborhood. (Double check with the restaurant and definitely make reservations before you go).

The Gulch

Adele's
From Jonathan Waxman’s spot in the Gulch comes a traditional Mother’s Day buffet with a twist. Featuring a carving station and a pancake station, this brunch will be jam packed. The price is reasonable especially if you are under 4: for $48 per adult, $18 per child, age 5-12, and free for children 5 and under. Be sure to get a reservation soon.

Chauhan
Chef Maneet Chauhan has brought culinary diversity to the north end of The Gulch with her “British pub with Indian influences.” The brunch menu is no exception. Chef Maneet Chuahan is crafting special dishes for Mother’s Day, including options like Chaat Masala Hot Brown with turkey meatballs and a makhani sunny egg and Salmon Kebab with fava bean, quinoa, achar, fresh mint, crispy garlic, and yogurt.

City Winery
Two words: Bottomless mimosas. If you need more reasons to go, they've got more stations than the Music City Star including a carving station, omelet station, grits station, salad station, fruit station and dessert station.

On the Eastside

Marche
Not the fanciest or the most expensive, but may well be the tastiest brunch in town (just ask the readers of the Nashville Scene who voted it the Best Brunch). Since there are no reservations, plan on getting there early or waiting for a bit. Don’t worry, it’s worth the wait.

Sylvan Park
answer.
With a globally-inspired menu, answer. features innovative versions of classic dishes. Though the brunch menu has an extensive cocktail and wine offering, they kindly have included a "not ready for booze" section for those not interested in the hair of the dog.

12South

Josephine
Named Nashville’s best restaurant by Nashville Lifestyles, Josephine takes a menu filled with brunch staples—fried chicken and biscuit, buttermilk waffle, corned beef hash—but gives them sophisticated treatment. Flourishes of flavor and fresh ingredients (the menu changes frequently to take advantage of seasonal ingredients) have made this newcomer a foodie favorite.

Germantown

Silo
Part of the resurgent restaurant scene in Germantown, Silo makes rich, flavorful food that will stick to your ribs. We recommend the hot chicken sliders, a "farm to fork” twist on the Nashville classic. Reservations are a must.
